Get the details of our analysis by ordering our ‘Trends Assessment of Folding Carton Solutions Report’ which will be available on our website shortly after our return from Drupa. The report is a high level assessment of what we think the key developments are in digital printing and finishing for the Folding Carton Sector coming out of Drupa. If you would like more information or be notified when the report is available, send us an email at kevin@karstedt.com.
  3. We will be focused on Digital Printing and Finishing and all related innovations for Packaging. Anything that will help; Brands Get To Market Faster, Alleviate Production Bottlenecks, Offer Marketing Opportunities…and a lot more.

The hype around Benny Landa’s Nanographic printing process has overshadowed the huge news from HP Indigo with two Packaging Specific Printing Presses for Packaging, the 20000 for Flexible Packaging and the 30000 for Folding Cartons. While we can not wait to see the Landa presses up close, and hear the Benny Show in the live theater there is lots of other news to cover too.

HighCon is introducing the Euclid, a digital die cutting and creasing system for Folding Cartons. Xeikon is showing their proven suite of 3000 series digital presses that have been printing Labels and Folding Cartons for some time…they will also be showing their new Quantum technology that will ultimately make it to packaging solutions for them (if I read the tea leaves correctly). The stalwart analog press manufactures of flexo and offset systems have not ignored the industries needs either, all will be showing innovations and new systems to better serve their portion of the packaging marketplace, we will be covering them too.

Workflow will continue to be a key driver of the digital technologies. Pantone Live  and a myriad of other technologies out of EskoArtwork, Kodak and others will be shown and we will be there to tell you about them.

This is the Interactive Drupa, be sure you are part of the show whether you are there or not…We will keep you informed on Digital Printing and Packaging.

Stay tuned for our live show coverage!
